Don’t let itchy, irritated ears get in the way of making holiday memories.

What is swimmer’s ear and how can it affect your holiday.

Swimmer’s ear is the common name for otitis externa or inflammation of the ear canal. It’s often caused by trapped water in the ear canal which can create an environment where bacteria and fungi thrives.

If you or your kids spend a lot of time swimming or in humid climates, like on your holiday, there is a higher risk of developing swimmer’s ear. As well as being uncomfortable, swimmer’s ear can also keep you out of the pool.
